Talking Book Service
The Clark County Public Library offers a Talking Book Service through the Library of Congress National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS).
The Talking Book Program provides free recorded books, magazines and playback equipment to approximately 15,000 eligible blind, visually impaired, physically disabled and reading disabled Ohio residents.
If you or someone you know is interested in and meets the requirements for this program, please fill out an application.
For individuals who already participate in the Talking Book Program through the Clark County Public Library and need assistance with a machine, please contact John Pelletier, Bookmobile Manager and Talking Books Coordinator at (937) 322-2821.
