UPDATE: 3/15/20

All locations of the Clark County Public Library will CLOSE at 8PM on Tuesday, March 17th-Monday, April 6th, 2020.

Loan periods will be extended and our book returns will be locked, so please hold on to your materials until we re-open.

“We regret having to do this but I feel that it is in the best interest of the community that we do our part to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus. I would rather err on the side of caution than to potentially foster the continued spread of the virus.” – Bill Martino, Director

As always, you can access digital library resources with your library card.  Ebooks and eAudiobooks are available through Overdrive and the Libby app, stream music and more with Hoopla and stream movies and TV shows with Kanopy and Recorded Books Digital.  Visit our website at www.ccplohio.org for access to digital resources.

For those of you who don’t have a library card and would like to utilize our digital resources while we are closed please email ebooks@ccpl.lib.oh.us and we will set you up with a temporary digital library card and PIN number.

UPDATE: 3/13/20

All library programs and events will be cancelled from Monday, March 16th to April 13th, 2020.  This includes all meetings scheduled by outside groups to take place in our meeting rooms.  Groups who have meetings or events scheduled in our rooms during this time will be contacted.

Study Rooms will be limited to use by two (2) people at a time from March 16th-April 13th, 2020.

We will also be postponing Outreach/Bookmobile services to schools, daycares, senior centers, nursing homes and all other organizations.

We are continuing to monitor the U. S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Clark County Combined Health District for updates.  At present, we are taking additional steps beyond regular practices and cleaning and sanitizing countertops and workspaces.  We are also making hand gel sanitizers available for library users.

Everyone has a role to play in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and staying healthy.  Please stay home and do not visit the library if you are exhibiting signs of the flu or if you are not feeling well.  We invite you to explore everything we have to offer on our website.  You can download eBooks and audiobooks on Overdrive, stream movies and checkout eBooks, audiobooks, and music on Hoopla and Kanopy.
