Hop on board Maker Metro and start creating!
The Maker Metro, located in the Park Branch, is a DIY space available to help your creative juices flow! Create gifts for yourself or others using any of the machines in the space, during a scheduled appointment.
You must have a library card to utilize the space. Don't have a library card? No problem! Visit any branch of the Clark County Public Library and sign up for a card, or do so online.
Patrons must also sign a waiver which will be kept on file at the library. Any patron under 18 must also have their parent or legal guardian's signature on said waiver. Click on the waiver here:Â https://www.ccplohio.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/86/2025/01/Maker-Metro-Release-Form-August-12-2024.pdf
To note, any patron under the age of 13 must have an adult with them at all times while using the Maker Metro.
Maker Metro is available by appointment only at this time. Appointments may be booked in one-hour increments, for up to a maximum of 2 hours a day. Make an appointment by calling (937) 322-2498 or send an email to: makermetro@ccplohio.org.
All machinery and laptops are free to use and there is no charge for materials which are in stock. Patrons are limited to making a total of 5 items with library supplies, but may make more if they supply their own materials (which must be approved by staff). There will be a charge for materials in the future, but updated information on pricing will be shared through signage and the library website.
Patrons are responsible for their designs and projects, but staff is available to help answer questions. It's best to create designs in advance and bring them on a flash drive or SD card, however some templates are available. Access to some templates will require a Canva account.
For full details on Maker Metro usage please refer to our policy here:Â https://www.ccplohio.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/86/2025/01/Maker-Metro-Use-Policy-January-15-2025.pdf
Please be respectful of staff and patrons and equipment and space. We aim to foster an inclusive space where anyone can come in, create and learn!

One of the 3D printers is shown in action here. This is just one example of the fun that happens in the Maker Metro.
